Summertime is an opportunity to be creative, explore new things, and continue to learn while having fun!

Our Summer Camp program is open to KLA Academy students as well as to the public in our one-of-a-kind facility in Brickell. Weeklong camps such as arts, math, sport are offered in June and July, typically from 9 AM to 4 PM. We have programs for students of all ages, from preschool to 5th grade. Families can join for as many sessions as they'd like. Registration is now open!

2025 Preschool Summer Camp

Description

KLA Academy’s 2025 Preschool Summer Camp will run from 9 AM to 4 PM, from June 10 through July 25. The program is divided into seven sessions, and each session is one week long.

This summer, our camp embarks on an exciting journey under the theme:

Communication Adventure: Unlock the Power of Expression through Stories, Nature and Sound.

Each session is designed to engage campers with a blend of adventure, learning, and hands-on activities:

Sessions 1 & 2 - The Art of Storytelling: Bringing stories to life.

Sessions 3 & 4 - Communication in Nature: Listening to the messages from nature.

Sessions 5 & 6 - Expressing without words: Discovering the power of non-verbal communication.

Session 7 - Sounds of the city: Exploring the vibrant sounds of our city.

We also offer a variety of activities, games, and projects catered to each age group, so children can explore their most creative side and have fun with their friends. Summer experiences include Story Time, Arts & Culture, Painting, Music, Sensory Exploration, Movement, Yoga, Lights & Shadows, Splash Days, Games, and much more!

Other Information

Baby Nido and Nido must bring snacks and lunch from home.

For Pre-K2-Pre-K3 and Pre-K4, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack are included. No outside food will be permitted for these age groups.

All campers should bring a water bottle that can be refilled on campus throughout the day.

Eligibility

As Summer Camp is an extension of the school year, please register your child under their current grade level. For example, children currently in Pre-K4 should enroll in the Preschool Summer Camp. Registrations that do not match a child’s current grade will not be considered valid.

2025 Elementary Summer Specialty Camps

Description

Specialty Camps

Our Elementary Summer Camp typically offers a morning period dedicated to different Specialty Camps, where children are grouped by grade and can choose a sport or activity they enjoy or are interested in exploring.

In past years, themes have included activities such as: Basketball, Cheerleading, Soccer, Art, Aerial Acrobatics, Gymnastics, Maker’s Lab, Tennis, Creative Dancing, Outdoor Sports, Drama Club, Stage Make-Up, Math Enrichment, and Science.

After lunch, all campers come together and afternoons are filled with a variety of activities, games, and projects.

Fridays are Field Trip days, with organized visits to museums, arts & crafts studios, and theaters.

The Day Camp will run from Monday to Friday from 9 to 4 pm through the entire summer (June 10 to July 25), registration is per session and each session is 1 week long. The Day Camp is crafted to offer children a vibrant blend of activities that cater to every interest. From arts activities to outdoor adventures and games, our camp promises a rich tapestry of experiences. Under the eyes of our camp counselors, each day unfolds in a safe and nurturing environment. Our team is passionate about sparking curiosity, fostering creativity, and guiding campers as they make unforgettable memories. The Day camp is for elementary children only.

All children attending Summer Camp at KLA Academy must submit (or have on file if a current student) valid health forms. Updated immunization forms (Form DH 680) and a physical form (DH 3040) must be submitted to KLA Plus prior to the first day of camp. These forms must be Florida-issued and can be obtained by the pediatrician.
